With over 30 years experience in the adhesive tape industry, E Thorn & Sons has developed an enviable reputation by combining technical expertise, application knowledge and process innovation. Some of the Industry Sectors we supply include: Automotive - recommended by Automotive OEMs and working closely with Tier 1 & Suppliers, our products can be found in many vehicles on European roads today. Construction - our products are used extensively with acoustic insulation materials, for system protection such as cladding, shop-fittings, doors and windows. Exhibition - We have films for the protection of Exhibition carpets, double-sided tape to make Exhibition fabric self-adhesive, and a range of banner and mount adhesive tapes for the Exhibition Stand environment. Foam & Rubber - Many UK converters of foam and rubber already use our products for the processing of their material. We have products that are 1500mm wide and suitable for water-jet cutting processes. Furniture - a significant are of new business for E Thorn and Sons - replacing traditional liquid-adhesive solutions with high performance double-sided tape to laminate fabric onto extruded polypropylene board for specialist furniture products. White Goods - Our Products can be found in a wide range of white goods, such as washers, dryers etc where durability and performance are critical to the success of the product. Architectural Metalwork - many customers from this sector use our protection films, duct tape and double sided tapes and have done so for many years.
